Gone With the Wind

This is a story in the time of Civil war between North and South in United State, the girl name Scarlet O’Hara lived in Atlanta who is very pretty as the most man wanted but she is really mean girl. She falls in love with a man name Ashley he is a soldier who married with a girl name Melanie.

However, a war never wait for anyone, Ashley have to participate in civil war as a South side. After Scarlet married with brother of Melanie because she wants to stay in the same house of Ashley but she turn to be a widow because her husband died in a war.

The war that made people suffered even Scarlett; she has to pay taxes for new government or people from North who wins the war. Therefore, to keep her and family alive and keep the land at Tara because after she has to move downward to the South where old hometown of Scarlet is Tara, she went to Rhett Butler for money but he refused. With this cause, she met Frank who love Starlet’s sister but he turn to Scarlet‘s husband. However, hers marriage life is not going well with second husband, he is been killed by the union soldier.

So on, she married again with Rhett Butler and they have a baby together name Bonnie. Rhett teach her how to ride a horse which is killed her by the accident .Rhett is very upset and sorry. Also, he feel that scarlet is really not love him although she has a new baby with she has an abortion from falls down the stairs.

The time is come, their marriage life is end up, and Rhett cannot take it any more from Scarlet behavior although she think that she cannot live without his help. They are through, Rhett leave her alone with Melanie ‘son and Ashley as she want to be with.


My opinion

There is many times that my mother wants me to watch this classic movie but, I always refused because it is to classic or too old movie. However, I have made it; I saw the racism of human and the poverty and illness from in a war even though they are the same country. People were abandoning by the illness as I can see that there is less of doctor and nurse also the medicine. The poverty made people has to stolen others until killed. All this trouble might come from their greedy to keep the slave working for them.
